Yuna had decided she wanted to make a coffee run to help her study that day. She hadn't gotten any sleep at all the night before since her floormates had been up half the night screaming about something or other. Tidus remained unconcsious the entire trip to the hospital. Every now and then, as the ambulance would round a corner or hit a bump, he would let out a new gasp or moan of pain, but that was all.

Yuna fought back tears as she rode the ambulance with her boyfriend. Of course she wasn't allowed to come with them as they wheeled him into ICU, nor did they tell her anything that was going on. So she was left to pace the waiting room, wiping tears from her eyes every so often.

She needed support. She needed someone to be there with her. And she knew just the person. Digging her cell phone out of her purse, she dialed her cousin's number. Getting voice mail, she left a simple message.

"Rikku, I'm at the hospital, in the ICU waiting room. I need you here if you can get here."

She got the message about fifteen minutes later and there was no hesitation in her change of direction to the hospital. Clearing the message, she dialed another number, the number of one of her new friend's who she knew would be a comfort to Yuna as well ( ... )

Blinking a bit stupidly, Zidane's mind raced as he processed what Rikku had just said to him over the phone before shoving his phone into his bag and grabbed his jacket.
"OI! Marcus! I'm leaving! Gotta go to the hospital! I promise I'll finish the deliveries later BYE!" he called and darted out of the Tantalus Delivery Service, breaking into a run as he took a few backstreets towards the hospital.

Being the sweet talker that he was, the blond got the nurse's to give him Tidus' location rather easily and decided to take the stairs, able to move much faster that way.
Zidane was in the waiting room in a matter of minutes from the moment he left the lobby, panting a bit.
"Rikku? Yuna?" he murmured, walking towards the two.

once things sorta quieted down, yazoo called yuna's cell phone, concerned. he thought he remembered yuna saying tidus was her boyfriend....

Yuna nodded at Zidane as she was being pulled away by Rikku. "When we're free after all this is sorted out," she promised, just as her phone rang. Now who could that be?

"Hello?"

Tugging the two along, she cast a glanced back at her cousin when the phone rang, curiosity perking but she'd pry once the conversation was done.
She didn't want to go interrupting things or anything like that! That would just be rude after all!

"Let's see let's see, ah! Cafeteria this way!" she said happily and tugged Yuna and Zidane down one of the hallways.
