My Mouth.....

Back in February, a crown came off one of my teeth. It was at night, so the next morning, I got up and called a dentist, to make an appointment to get it put back on. They got me in that morning, so I went to the appointment, and while there, the dentist asked if I'd like to have a cancer prescreen done. I said I would. I had to put this stuff

Thank goodness that's all it was! I have to think that the dentist(s) involved knew that's what it was, but were playing it safe. I used to manage a DDS office, and 99.9999% of the oral cancer patients there were regular Skoal users or smoked cigars. I have a hunch you don't fit into either of those categories ;-)

Well, I've never been given the tongue on internet before. Whoohooo!!!!

I chew the inside of my cheek as a nervous habit and sometimes the sides of my tongue. It freaks the dentist out when I go for dental appointments for the same reason as you just experienced. That inside cheek thing, by the way is, I meant in my mouth. I'm not that flexible. What were you thinking?

Well glad it was nothing serious. I wonder if they do this screening thing and scare the shit out of people for the money or the entertainment.

I chew the inside of my mouth too, my tongue, my cheeks, and occasionally when chomping on gum, I BITE either my tongue or cheek. I'd rather not do it while chewing gum though, that hurts!!!
