Anybody home?

It's been awhile, I wonder if I can get back into the habit of coming back here again. I see alot of people have unfriended me while I was gone but that's ok, people come here to stay in touch and post and I guess I haven't done that in awhile!

Last April, we went up to Chandler, Arizona, and ordered a Smart Fortwo car. They are cute, have really good safety ratings and we only had to put $99 down. They told us that the car would not be in until October of 2009. We talked to a man last week that has one and he and his wife love it. The new iPhone, Joe and I waited in line for 2 hours friday, just so I could get a white one. I love it, I'm really having fun learning all the features. I've spent many hours playing with it, but have only had 2 phone calls, and they only lasted just a couple minutes each!! I highly recommend it!!

It's been pretty warm here this week. The thermometer out back is reading 106.4, and that's in the shade. It's a bit cloudy, but the humidity is only 17%, which isn't bad ( Read more... )

Joe and I have made quite a few short trips this year. In February we travelled to Las Cruses, New Mexico and visited Mesilla, just south of Las Cruses. Mesilla is where a judge and jury sentenced Billy the Kid to death by handing for murder. The shopping is good in Mesilla if you are looking for southwestern art, Indian pottery and other goods ( Read more... )
