it's my last quarter of college. it's freaking me out. i'm happy about it, but what's next? i look ahead and see nothing. i'm not pessimistic about it, but it's weird. i've gone to school for the past 16 years

So do you know the song "Smile (though your heart is breaking)"? That takes me back to jazz choir in high school. Deep down it hurts me to think that I'm growing older and everything is changing, I truly wish I could hold on to my youth for a while longer. The latest scary revelation I faced was that I'll be 23 in october! Which is really scary because only 3 times have I thought about being 22 since I turned it last October. And so years will begin to go by without us thinking about how old we are...perhaps. And up to this point every year has meant something new and different and meaningful. But life is what you make it I suppose. I'm thankful that God has a purpose for me that will never leave me unsatisfied.
