"Running is just a controlled fall".

Have you seen that book/article Hey, is that the book that talks about how humans used to hunt by literally running down their prey? Because the great advantage humans had was that they were able to sweat?

Amazing how we don't even want to bother walking anymore.

EDIT: because I should learn to google things

YES! It is indeed. I found that particular part of the book insanely interesting - the biological/evolutionary argument that we are built to run long distances. I realllly recommend the book if you have the time, it's this ridiculously fun mix of drama/biography/cultural study/biomechanics/anthropology/evolutionary theory/sheer good, fast-paced writing. Plus it's hugely motivating for runners.

Unfortunately it's also gotten me into a retarded mood for writing tribal hunter!Nejiten. Shoot me before that happens.

Oooh now I should have bought it when Borders was still open! TO AMAZON!

Tenten would obviously be the toolmaker.
Tenten: OMG CHECK THIS OUT if tie this string together with this stick I can make this pointy rock GO REALLY FAR *shows off rudimentary bow and arrow*
Neji: ...What. Is that good for.
Tenten: How about I throw it and find out?

Also it means delicious shirtless Neji. Mmm.
