I just watched "Howl's Moving Castle" and I adored it. Hayao Miyazaki did it again. It was so rich and full, it has a very high rewatchability.

You probably already know, but in case you don't 'Howl's Moving Castle' was only animated by Miyazaki san. Brilliant as he is, he didn't write this one. So there's a novel if you're interested.

actually I read about that- and I heard the library has both the book and its sequel! I don't know if I'll ever get around to reading them, but I want to...

I feel so left out! I saw spirited away, and I liked it, but that's the only one I've seen. A bit trippy, actually a lot trippy, but once I got used to it, I rather enjoyed it. I just have to remember DON'T TRY TO FIGURE IT OUT!! Once I stop thinking it is much more enjoyable. Actually, isn't that true of most things?

I'd say 'Spirited Away' is probably his most 'trippy' work of them all. Nice one to start on.

Weeeell, I'm generally not a fan of *not* thinking, but I have come to realize that one can *over*think things!
