By Longcat, had I known of it, I would be reveling in it as we speak, stoking the flames. I'm still researching it looking for the juicy parts and the best I could find was John Scalzi's thoughts on the issue. I stayed deliberately out, even though one of my friends was involved, because all the sides I could see from where I stood were from my viewpoint quite in the wrong. And passionate about it. Yes, it is possible to have a debate where all the sides are wrong; it happens very often, and it is one of the many reasons why discussion and debate are badly overrated in the modern world.

I've enjoyed it enormously, even that I didn't even understand half of it, being foreign and all...

Is it still going on? Last bit I saw had something about Mammoths.
