I've been trying to read Shakespeare's plays, but I won't deny I find them extremely hard to understand!

I hear you...Shakespeare is a tough read. Sparknotes is not "for stupids"...there's simply no way a first-time reader can grasp all the complexities of Shakespeare's language. But if you find sparknotes helpful, you might want to give Shmoop a try. We have 16 Shakespeare plays up and other 'notes' sites, we have a whole quotes section where we pull straight from the text and explain/comment on it. Our latest is the Taming of the Shrew: http://www.shmoop.com/intro/literature/william-shakespeare/the-taming-of-the-shrew.html. Check it out!

My brave friend. I'm proud of you, 'cause I kinda run from English.. so, old English sounds like Greek to me.

I've always been curious about Shakespeare but still don't have all that courage to read the original xD wish you lucky (to find more sparknotes) and patience!
