The truth about Oasis

It doesn't even feel like the 2 months between my finding out Oasis was coming here and their actual show are nearly over. A week from now a lot of people will be on their toes with excitement over going to their concert. I hoped to be one of those people. I think I could've been one of them. However, I'm not even that sad that I'm not ( Read more... )

R$ 180,00!!!! I spent R$100 in Radiohead and thought it was a robbery (then I discovered los hermanos and kraftwerk and recovered myself.. but I payed just for radiohead. aff xP).
It sounds like me when going to Simply Red's show. guess it was old love, but they'd perform their greatest hits so the ones I loved were there xD But Keane played 'The Frog Prince' that is a music I love and it's not that famous and I NEVER thought I'd be able to see them perform it *__* is difficult to say what's gonna happen.

Anyway, waiting is terrible, I totally hate it. and I'm not complaining every time *I guess* 'cause I went to 3 shows on 3 fridays.. It made me got used to that xP Well, a friend of mine said that maybe Coldplay will come to Brazil, but I don't think so and I'm not ready for more now x.x although I want Franz \o/
(ok, não sei se concordo ou não comigo mesma.. deve ser o sono.. desculpe xD)If you think you wouldn't enjoy it the way you should than it's better like this^^. if you like the band, it's better not regret going to their ( ... )

There were two prices: R$120,00 and R$180,00. I don't remember why I didn't want the 120 one. And Porto Alegre had the cheapest tickets in Brazil, imagine that... Besides, there's something I forgot to mention which is that Cachorro Grande was the opening act. Really, they couldn't have made a better choice of band to make me decide to stay home and be happy about it.

Yeah, even if the band has a more or less defined setlist, they might include other songs on a specific show. However, the chance of Oasis playing one of my favorites is a lot slimmer than Keane playing yours, for example. Oasis has 8 albums, while Keane has 2, maybe 3 (not sure), so there's less songs for them to pick from.

I never really liked live performances. At least I don't like watching shows on DVD, for example. Going to a show is probably different, though, but still, I'm not sad about not going. Still a bit frustrated, maybe, but not sad.

I hope you get to see Franz soon. And I'm pretty sure it won't take long before they come.
