I'm from Alberta- (Vermilion)- it's about 30 mins from the border with Saskatchewan, due east from Edmonton and south of what's on fire :-( It's the kind of place with pirogies and chuck wagon races at the fairs. I'm also an obligatory Oilers fan ;-)

I've never been east of Lloydminster to see all the pretty parts of Ontario and Quebec. Someday!

Hatch green chilies make everything better, lol. In New Mexico you can get them everywhere and on anything!
