Thanks guys for all the really amazing comments. I'll try to respond to everyone's individually but just wanted to mention a few things I forgot to add to my Author's Notes.

I am well aware that the Tribeca Film Festival traditionally takes place in mid-April but screw it, I decided to take creative liberties (lol). So just pretend that for whatever reason, that year, it takes place in the middle of summer.

Also, about Noah's film, some of my favorite films of all time are American Beauty, Pleasantville and Brokeback Mountain. And so if you've ever seen these films, you'd understand how I got the idea for his film.

I love this story so much. You transition it so well, I can't even....

A lot of times I can be so hard on Luke, but here I understood why he had to go and be with Noah- even if Noah wasn't suppose to find out he was there in the first place. Luke knows how hard Noah has worked, he fully knows the importance of such a great moment in his life. How could Luke not be there?

I really do feel bad for Adam, but I do think he'll bounce back from this, he's already seen signs.

Wow what excellent chapters!

I could really feel the intensity between them in Emma's kitchen... almost as if I was there myself!

And of course Luke had to go to New York to support Noah, I wouldn't expect anything less from him!

That kiss was breathtaking. I could just picture the scene, with Luke rambling away and Noah unable to stop himself by silencing Luke with that kiss.

But my heart bleeds for Adam.

Amazing story! So glad you are sharing it with us. I love Luke and Noah together but I feel bad for Adam. He is such a good guy I do not want to see him get hurt.....but i do want to see Luke and Noah back together.

I knew from the second Luke learned about Noah's film that he'd fly to New York. And that his impromptu appearance wouldn't be at all unwelcome. I'm guessing that Noah had always imagined he'd share such a moment with Luke, so when it finally happpened for him and then Luke showed up, that must have felt like a dream come true.
