Wow! Thank you so much! I love the darkness of it. Your Remus is spot on - his voice is just how I would imagine it. And I loved the twist at the start where I thought he was spying but he was really planning to see Lucius.

I especially love this line: Lucius tangles his fingers in Remus' hair, clinging to hair cropped a little too short to cling to properly.

The ending was bittersweet. Sad. I can feel the anguish Remus would be feeling over the way he betrayed his friends. It was a wonderful present - thank you again.
