So, I must say, the funniest thing EVER is me trying to learn how to drive stick. Yeah, that's right. Me. And it was my idea too, go figure. And you know what you can do with that parking brake? I'd say at this point I'd take even the embarrassing parking break moments, but...you'd never let me live it down if I did it again. Not that you are letting me live it down now. Miss you. ♥

And I now feel really bad for anyone that had to learn to drive stick and learn to drive at the same time!! I had it EASY.

I had to take my original driving test in a stick as our only car had one. My mom took me up to the parking lot at Weber State's basketball arena and made sure I had the basics down. THEN she took me into the neighborhoods on the mountain so I would learn how to clutch properly on a hill. I had to be a quick study as my mom's patience level is well....low.
AM excited for you to go back to school too!! Och Tamale!!

Yeah, it's funny trying to learn. I'm personally in favor of the parking lot practice sessions too, but dad seems to favor sink or swim methods. I'm going to get these gears and shifting and clutch stuff down. Otherwise I'll be made fun of by the younger brother who is going to be a freshman and thinks he knows everything. Haha.
Oh, and you get extra love just because! ♥ ♥ ♥!!!

Odd gears are up, even gears are down. Reverse is traditionally in the lower right.
Hope that helps!!
