Just had my interview for the RCA position. Gonna apply for DA and maybe Admissions (tours/answering phone, etc.), dunno if I can do the latter with work-study at the bookstore (because I wanna keep working there should my supervisor ask for me next year

You sound like you were exceptionally... coached.

Coaching for interviews is highly overrated. Just go in and be yourself.

Remember, the job has to be a fit for YOU, as well. It's not a one way street. And if you have to pretend in an interview... you'll likely have to pretend at the job, too. You can only play make-believe for so long.

Well...it's not like I was coached, it's more my perception of how a job interview goes... I think. Because in American society, the people like it more if you make eye contact with them. In Asian society children are taught to keep their heads down. I knew one of the people interviewing me, too, so he knew me (kind of).

Although my friend at work told me dress nicely. So I did that. They (the people interviewing me) liked that.
