Maou episode 07.
SPOILERS AHEAD! DO NOT GO BEHIND THE CUT IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE SPOILED!
- RECAP of previous episodes
- paramedics arrive at warehouse 47: Naoto finds the red envelope with the tarot card Sword
- Osumi IS FRICKING CREEPY! DX
- Naoto announces that Ikehata is dead to his father and brother. I think Eisaku told Naoto that he had nothing to do with Ikehata's death. And we see Eisaku calling Osumi screeching why Ikeheta is dead.
- Red room: Ryo crosses out Ikeheta's picture. And we see him placing a picture of the adulterous couple on a red envelope.
- SHIORI: Shiori reflects on her last meeting with Ryo. (Shiori is cute!!! CUTE!!)
- police department: I think they classified Ikehata's death as 'accidental', since Naoto is so fired up about it and he mentioned the red envelope. Naoto ended up leaving the room followed by Kaoru. Now... who was the chief talking to?!
- Naoto: arrests his father! :O But wait! Ryo arrives to save Eisaku!! Naoto asks why Ryo is there. (Naoto, legal adviser. Right??) You know, the tension here was so thick between the three of them! I think Naoto just declared that he didn't see Eisaku as his father. (The son disowning the father?!) Then... Nii-san asks Kasai about trust. (Or trusting Eisaku? Hmm)
- Souda is an annoying prick!
- Naoto and Kaoru go to Ikehata's place and find it trashed. All CDs are broken and useless, Naoto arrives to the conclusion that Amano Makoto is the one who trashed the place. The other detective outside spots the paper about a delivery of a CD to Naruse! Everyone brings it to the chief, and I think they arrive to the conclusion that the Naruse in the paper is related to Ryo!
- Ryo and Nee-san talk over the phone about Ryo's birthday! I think Nee-san is trying to convince Ryo to come over to see his face (this is weird, I know, I fail at Nihongo! His sister is blind! DX) After she hangs up, we see one of the staff announce that mail arrived for Nee-san and we see CD-R on the contents! (This is the same as the slip of paper that the detective found! *gasp*)
- OPENING SEQUENCE STILL AWESOME!!!
- The nurse helps out Nee-san to put the cd on the player. We hear the same audio clip that Ikehata sent to Ryo, same one on the piece of evidence that Ikehata unconsciously handed to Ryo. And parallel to this, we see Ryo happily buying flowers for his Nee-san! *weeps*
- Shiori goes to Ryo's office: Ryo wasn't around but the staff kind of boosted Shiori's ego by asking if she was the girl inthe coffee shop with the delicious coffee.
- Ryo arrives at the hospital. (This is long!)
Nee-san's flinch when Ryo announces his arrival here. *gasp*
They move to her room and Ryo asks her what's wrong. She was about to say something when we hear a knock on the door and Ryo literally jumps out of his seat to ask "WHY ARE YOU HERE?" at Naoto. (The look of confusion on Ryo's face is so priceless! We can totally see how the cool lawyer just might lose his cool with the apperance of his arch-nemesis in the VERY PERSONAL [and fragile] part of his life!)
Serizawa announces who he is and apologizes for the intrusion. He then asks if she received a package from Ikehata. (Ryo's face! The look of PANIC!) Naoto confirms if the package contained a CD. Nee-san confirms that it was a CD. Naoto asks her where the CD is now, and she says that it's in the player and Naoto could help himself to it. Naoto opens the player, takes out the CD to inspect it, then puts it back in to play. We see Ryo all panicky looking sideways at Naoto as he inspects the CD (OMG THE PANIC IN RYO'S FACE! AND THE PAIN IN THE POSSIBILITY OF INCRIMINATING EVIDENCE ABOUT TO PLAY RIGHT IN HIS FACE! OMG! OHNO WAS SO FRICKING GOOD I'M ABOUT TO WET MY PANTS NOW!)
But lo and behold! It was a music CD!!! Both Ryo and Naoto are surprised. We see Ryo's confusion, he knows what the CD would contain and music certainly wasn't it. If his sister knew what it contains, why is she still covering up for him!? Naoto asks her why would Ikehata send her a music CD. But all thought processes on my part stopped there already.
We see Ryo battling with his emotions, trying so hard not to cry as Nee-san talks. (I cry because I couldn't understand what she's saying!!! TT^TT)
Ryo CRIES with his eyes OPEN! (Ohgahds how it hurts!!! TT^TT)
Ryo says sorry. But Nee-san says it's okay, that SHE KNEW ALL THIS TIME! (OMG HOW MY HEART BROKE AT RYO'S FACE!)
Ryo says sorry again. Nee-san hands him the CD that Ikehata sent her. And I think she told him that she trusts him. He takes the CD. Ryo keeps crying in silence. Nee-san says that she'll be okay. That she'll be okay on her own. (MY HEART!!!!!!!!!!! MY POOR POOR HEART!!) We see Ryo stumbling his way out. But Nee-san stops him, and greets him HAPPY BIRTHDAY! He says 'Arigatou, Nee-san' with restrained pain and leaves. Both of them crying. Nee-san says 'Sayonara, Ryo' when Ryo leaves.
Naoto is seen waiting outside, Ryo passes by him but Naoto declares that he doesn't understand why Ikehata sent Nee-san a music CD. Ryo is VERY ANGRY here and tells Naoto that his sister has nothing to do with anything. That Naoto should STAY AWAY FROM HER!
(HEARTBREAKING IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!)
- Souda is an annoying prick! Ambushing the couple. Of course Mari panicks and she just says 'Hajimemashite.'. Of course she and Souda knows what this was about. After dinner, Kasai fetches them, but it ends up that Kasai takes her home. Mari stops the car and gets out. She tells Kasai that they've been discovered! And I think Mari declares that she can't leave Naoto's Nii-san. She says sorry then leaves.
- Souda is at Kasai's home, drinking on his own. Kasai finally realizes that Souda discovered them. Souda taunts him, and ends up being punched by Kasai. And due to his anger, we see Kasai about to break a bottle on Souda's head! (I really thought that he was going to smash it on Souda's head) Kasai threatened Souda that if he touches Mari, Kasai will kill Souda.
- Serizawa brothers talk. (I wish I could understand even a few sentences here.) I really do feel for Nii-san. He's surrounded by bastards. Naoto leaves and we see Nii-san take out a red envelope with a picture of Mari and Kasai hugging each other. *gasp*
- Yamano and Ryo talk. Ryo still seems to be conflicted. But I think Yamano is being a bastard here.
- Police station: everyone is puzzling over Manaka Tomoo and Amano Makoto
- Ryo's offce: Ryo comes back and finds his staff with Shiori. They popped party poppers when he opened the door. (Shiori so cute!) They even had cake for him. Presents too! Shiori hands her present. COOKIES! CUTE COOKIES! And we see Ryo smiling and saying 'Arigatou'. The male staff took a piece of paper and handed it to Ryo. With a drawing and a greeting. It was from Sora. (HOW MY HEART BROKE AGAIN! RYOOOOOOOO! *hugs*)
- Ryo walks with Shiori: Shiori noticed his discomfort straight away from opening Sora's present. So when they were walking, she tried to talk to him. She mentions something about Ryo being the 'angelic lawyer'. Ryo stops in his tracks, Shiori looks back and sees Ryo's very emotionally conflicted face. Ryo declares that 'he is not an angel'. Shiori approaches him. He then leaves. But Shiori stops him. She declares that she doesn't understand what he's going through, says something more, then asks 'Can't I be your angel?'. Shiori lets go of Ryo's hand and apologizes. BUT RYO HUGS HER INSTEAD!!! And we see Ryo weeping again! (I NEED A DEFIBRILLATOR NOW!)

HOLY SNAP!!! EPISODE 7 BEAT EPISODE 6 INTO A PULP AS BEING THE BEST EPISODE THUS FAR!!! *weeps*
