we already got married, but none of either of our families came, so were sending out an announcement telling them all we got hitched. we took tons of pix, daves stepdad has yet to burn them onto a disk for me.

Hey I am a friend of Dave's from way back...anyway...Thought I would share a few ideas here! It seems that a couple of the people who read the announcement on here have been confused in understanding that it has already happened...
Maybe something like this will help clear it up? I tried to use your same words and thoughts, just switched it around a bit!

David and Audra Manass joyfully announce their wedded bliss, having professed their deep love in a bond of marriage on the 20th of May, 2005.

Mr and Mrs David Manass are please to announce their nuptuals, having bonded their shared love into one on May 20th, 2005. May our (their?) happiness and joy be felt by all.

I can probably come up with more ;-) it's what I do!
