So we got our first history midterms back today. Our class did so horribly, the proffessor is actually skipping a chapter, and going to cover how to write an essay on tuesday. And I have no confidence when it comes to grades and I think my self-perception about my academic abilities is off by just a wee bit ( Read more... )

Who the hell are Humphrey and Adams- and HOW are they not too outdated to be used in an already outdated phrase in your entry?

Humphrey and Adams were high school history teachers. Both very different and very cool guys. Humphrey staged wars, coal mining, and decapitation sessions, and Adams...well he related tales of his days in DC, usually multiple times, from behind his podium and drove the war-machine of homework like none I've encountered before.

*gasp of delight* I'll be around! I'm done with class at two... what time are you planning on getting here? And, what's the occasion? Want to get some coffee together, or something? How long are you staying? Do you need a place to sleep? (A dorm room and a sleeping bag await you, if so.) Awesome!

hey, I'm sorry I took so long to respond....I am planning on getting there rather late- 8:30 ish. A show I want to see begins then, so I should be able to make most of it. You want to go to? It's at Blakes on Telegraph- do you know it? A place to sleep would be awsome as would general hanging out with Amanda.
