Why must children give up their peace of mind so that their parents may keep thiers? That's crazy. I'm crazy. My mother and father and driving me crazy! Look there's nothing wrong with going back to work at the library. I mean the grass is always greener. But seriously, why beat yourself up with late hours and shadows of people (YUPPIES) barking at you if you don't have to?

But ya, our parents are not my friend right now, ug.

it sounds like your parents are just too lazy to want to deal withanything so they set up really hard and fast arbitrary limits on your behaviour so they don't have to make daily judgement calls, or think about things beyond the spark of inspiration that creates the arbitrary rule the first time.
Have you tried talking to them? Telling them that it is amoral to selfishly break this commitment to your job? If you can't keep a commitment to starbucks, how do they expect you to have a real job later?
oh wait, you said they don't want you to have a job - they want you to be a teacher in the morning in the kitchen in the evening.
Well, at least you're getting that intense desire to go home out of your system. Maybe you can move in with some friends soon.
