Thanks for this! So, they're both Sarek's sons now, right? But no mention made of being brothers. Heheh. Hey, I can hope, right? ;)

Did you just make up the Vulcan traditions and words? Or are they from canon?

I was also wondering, why the shift to third person on the PEter scenes? It kinda confused me a bit. Does that have a special significance? :)

I assume you kept reading and got to the *rest* of the story, right? Brothers isn't exactly the end result!! :-)

As for the Vulcan words, they are grokked from the Vulcan Language Institute, which is no longer online in its original form, dammit. Was a phenomenal resource. I see there are people who want to recreate it--hope they do. The Vulcan traditions? Purely my own invention.

The POV shifts were intentional...you'll notice I switch back and forth from 3rd to 1st throughout the entire story. It's been so long since I wrote it now that I can't remember why I wrote it like that!! (Perhaps it was to give a sensation of Captain's Logs intimacy of thought...I dunno....)

I had to stop after Part 1 because I had to do some *real* work (I was reading it in the office XD). But I'm reading the rest right now!
