Once again I find myself in utter awe of your talent. This was truly wonderful! What a beautiful piece of writing.

I found myself immersed in the detail, and the intricate cultural history. I adored all of the background into Vulcan culture. Each piece giving the story authenticity and richness.

Yet even more than that, I loved the emotion, even though the story was told from Spock's POV, my heart broke for Jim, I could feel his sadness and anguish...which made the end that much more poignant and heartwarming. In fact, I swear my pulse was racing excitedly by the time they came together, Spock's memories renewed. I felt their joy as my own.

Thank you for that wonderful journey. :-)

Awww...thanks for writing fb, sweets! It's pure schmoop, that's for sure, with a hefty side helping of angst thrown in. LOL But it was a way to explore more of the Vulcan culture, and you know that's what I like. Plus...I wrote this for a specific audience; zines have certain readers, especially certain zines, and this fit the bill for BD. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I'd posted this some time ago when I uploaded my stories to ksarchive.com , but the original file was so laden with crappy code and the DW/LJ posting was awful. Finally had time to strip it and redo it slowly by hand so it was a clean upload. I kinda miss the days I used to run my own websites and simply upload and announce on mailing lists. MUCH easier :-) The journal/blog universe is, comparatively, a real PITA.

Sing it, sister! Posting stories lately, from a technical standpoint, has been a pain in the... ;-)

I hate to admit it, but.... I think I understand why people post their stories in multiple parts, one per day. Yes, there's the fb kink factor *g* but also it makes it just a LOT easier, even if you do use a client.

This is such an incredible, well-crafted story. I have to confess that I rock the original series Kirk/Spock more than the new Kirk/Spock; though a well written story always catches the eye (I threw in that semi-colon in honor of jaylee_g and our mutual affliction), regardless of who is shipped. :)

I am SO not worthy of either one of you, as your talent is truly phenomenal ... but I do aspire to reach your heights, someday. :)

Oh... this story was so beautiful! Not only was it a unique take on Spock's recovery, but the details of Vulcan, both the planet and the traditions, were breathtaking. I loved it all so much.

You've made my day! I love creating and building, culturally, especially for Vulcans. It's so great when other people like it, too :-) Thanks for taking the time to comment!
