Don't feel nervous! Yes, the idea behind it may be slightly ludicrous, as you say, but that doesn't stop it from being a cute--and most importantly, well-written--little story. I hope to see more from you!

I've only written two DW stories and one TW, but everyone made me write them. None went the way I though it was going and they wouldn't let me sleep till they were written. I think all true writers are slightly mad. Loved the story, by the way.
