I've covered a few things that bothered me in my Nano (Mainly my lack of back story for the strong belief in bad luck in my world) with a few legends inserted inserted* into corresponding chapters. Now a lot more things make sense. Right now, a Great King Of The Past is buying a horse from Death, which is probably a huge mistake on his behalf but

The antagonist is totally Santa. He's a bad guy. Who flies around on his reindeer every Christmas. And sneaks into houses through the chimney to kidnap children and put them in socks.

Oh, and he steals cookies from people's cookie jars too.

And if a house doesn't have a chimney, he enters through the bathroom window. O:
