a noticeable change has occurred. after last week's loss of optimism i sought out comfort in syracuse, the place that has always most comforted me. john o'hara tagged along for jazzfest; coming straight out of his AE job interview, he looked like a societal myna bird (superfudge, anyone?) brandishing a sideways trucker cap and preshredded jeans

i really have no idea what i was trying to say anymore. all i know is that i love syracuse and i was so happy that i acted impulsively for once and just jumped in the car and went.

also, today i was thinking that i should probably change the song that i said most reminds me of you. today at work the song "paradise city" came on the radio and that is definitely the one song that will make me think of shannon hood no matter where i am or what i am doing.
when do you want to get together? this is my schedule for the next two weeks: i work until 5 until friday, then i am off saturday, but work 5-11pm on sunday. i am then off monday through saturday and will work 5-11pm on sunday again.
