No, I actually took these last week at my friend's house. The bird was on her pation :/

Could you identify the bird ?

Fall migration is starting. I suppose if I weighed a few ounces and had to fly a few thousand miles, I could drop dead too.

Aww, looks like a juvenile (all that mottling on the breast). Dead birds usually look so intact when you find them. I found a warbler on the sidewalk in Cambridge near O's work a few autumns ago, and as far as I could tell it just fell out of the sky, with no signs of distress.
