FSM = Flying Spaghetti Monster

It is a fake religion designed to mock Intelligent Design, and it all started with a letter to the Kansas State Board of Education, who says ID must be taught in schools. It has really caught on across the internet.

Si. Muy stupida.

English is no more the "Official" language of the United States than is Sanskrit. Sure, we conduct most business and all of our laws are in English, but really, it's not like some countries that have decreed an "Official Language" or three. There have certainly been other times in our history where in certain localities English was not the dominant language, for example, look at all the lakes in Minnesota that have French names. You don't think we just called it "Lake Mille Lacs" because we like redundancy?

I think the fact that the Principal has admitted that "This isn't the first time we've asked him to speak English" could be used to establish a pattern of discrimination against Latino students. That kid is going to have a nice little scholarship fund by the time his lawyers are through with that district.
