Mike and I went and saw Forbidden Kingdom last night.

I loved it.

I loved it madly.

But then, I really love kung fu movies.

Although Mike enjoyed it also, even if he did turn to me in the middle and whisper, "Look, it's the Asian version of Elrond's halfway house!"

There was no proper reponse to this except, "And that's Asian Elrond!"

Ashley has come and gone. I was feeling quite snarly earlier on, because last night, around the point where I crawled into bed because I was exhausted and braindead (around eleven), a bunch of people showed up with beer. And they were loud ( Read more... )

I'm doing okay, now.

Today, a regular customer came through the carwash, a guy who brings a lot of reposessed vehicles through. He asked me if the little orange Yamaha motorcycle out in the parking lot was mine. I said no, that it belonged to one of the guys.

"Huh," he said. "I always pegged you for a biker chick."

I think this is awesome.
