Because I got curious and I should be asleep.

The meme that blythechild did recently, made me curious about just how many fandoms I've dabbled in over the years. I started when I was 11 years old, and obsessed (SRSLY) with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. So I'm going to try to think back and remember all of the ones I've loved, and lost over the years. In no particular order:

Buffy
Angel
Star Wars (Original ( Read more... )

aw, we have so many fandoms in common and i had no idea! i read howl's moving castle before i saw it, and i think because of that i'm more fond of the book than the movie. then again, they're both so different that it's like comparing apples and oranges.

AND GAAAHH! oh, sailor moon. i loved it so so so much until i realized that i did not have the attention span to keep up with all the dramatic changes!

seriously. sailor moon was all about reincarnated twisty plots. it got to be too much.

i think howl's the book makes more sense than howl's the movie. the war in the movie made little sense, and mrs. pentstammon was evil and the witch of the waste was good all of a sudden... but the movie was very pretty.

this was too true! i thought that the reincarnation was interesting at first, but then it just kept going. i liked prince diamond though, in a bad boy/major creeper sorta way.

i think that the prettiness is what i like most about the movie. i mean, as far as plots go, it's pretty feeble, but i can't help but ooh and aahh at the scenes.

oh oh and i meant to comment on your other post but i'll just do it here.

I AM SO FREAKIN JEALOUS THAT YOU GOT TO MEET THE WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE! so much so that i cannot elaborate further because words cannot describe the intensity of my jealousy.

my sis and i paid our way to meet max russo (i don't like his real name, it doesn't look like him) at a car show, but it wasn't nearly as great as your experience because he was being all "sullen teenager!"
