Hey, this is the firespinner/Western U 1st year here :) Turns out there are two of us in our class who spin! I don't know where you're at, being a third year, but if you're ever around and want to spin, just give me a poke :)
Congrats and Welcome! How'd you enjoy team building? ;)
Yay another fire spinner!! I knew the WesternU admissions were doing their job right! I'd love to meet up and have some fun. I actually have a new set that I've been meaning to break in. I'm off campus for the next month, but I'll let you know when I'm around. Best of luck with your first day of class tomorrow! Who's your facilitator? If you need anything-- survival tips, book recommendations, cool places to eat, don't hesitate!
Team building was fun! I enjoy stuff like that, especially the slightly more daring stuff (i.e. the web, volunteering to be a bumpaquack first, etc.).
My facilitator is Pep, who so far has been extremely sweet and kind. I told a second year I had him and she was like, "I hate you," lol. Apparently Pep is a badass. *g*
Any general survival tips you have would be awesome, along with must-have books. I'm hesitant to buy a ton of books at first because I'm paranoid of running out of money, so knowing right off the bat which ones I really gotta have would be good.
And cool places to eat or do anything would be great! So far I've just been spending a lot of time at various Targets, lol. Some of us have been out to the Dave and Buster's in Ontario, and we ate at Islands, but other than that, I have no idea what to do around here, and I've been here 3 weeks, lol. So yeah, any tips at all would be great!
