while i was in lahore i also very very randomly met the famous iranian film director majid majidi because the person who we were staying with teaches film at the national college of arts in lahore and had to host a dinner for him the same evening so we randomly tagged along and it was way amusing.

i saw where my grandmother was born in lahore, in the old city. it was nice. i spent some time sifting through old letters and most of this trip has been a sifting of memories that i keep putting away into different files without looking at them. i wonder if it's changed me somewhat without me realizing.
