I sat down tonight and went over the collective little scraps of paper that have accumulated over the years since I began college. I slowly read over each side of each little item, putting aside ones that were worth saving. Tickets from concerts, movie stubs, birthday cards, the rare piece of snail-mail, the even more rare photograph. Things that ( Read more... )

yay! we'd be happy to have you. i'm not sure if our print/magazine deadline has passed or not, but if you want to write articles for the blog on just about anything, pleeease let me know, because I don't think that has a deadline.

and yess mieville knows how to build so meticulously, I wondered at times whether I was reading a fact he made up or which actually existed in the world, hahaha.

ooh, I'd like to write for the blog. I could do random features if I don't fit into the schedule. If you'd like a sample, I have a film blog I'm taking forever to update (doublefeaturefight.blogspot.com), but I think I can write something less boring than those entries. I can also do TV stuff and book reviews/genre or author introductions.

If you'd like to read more Mieville, I've got recs

Uh-oh! I meant to read this post, but then I obviously didn't, but luckily I just thought to myself hm i wonder what tia is up to and remembered. Hurrah for updates on your life! It sounds so interesting and full and also fulfilling and this post made me happy.

One day, when I'm prepared for an aesthetic explosion, I'm going to sit down and click through your photo blog. o__o

It's not really an explosion, more like a little pop. The kind your ears go through when your plane lands.

Ha, does my life really sound that interesting?? Most days I'm just sitting about wailing about how I have no idea what I want to do (despite studying which indicates otherwise, ha).
