K, I was looking around on www.adventchildren.net and I found the Dirge of Cerberus price. 8190 yen. I thought to myself, hmmm, I wonder how much that is in Canadian? Probably only like 60 some dollars or something like that. But when I converted it, guess what it came to. 81.00. 81.00 for a game O.o I would NEVER pay that much for a game!! On eBay, I put my maximum high bid for Suikoden II as $200... and I lost. T_T Sadly, when it comes to rare games (if they are just released I wait a while till they get cheaper, unless I have been waiting for 'em.) I am willing to spend a LOT. :[

I am not shocked at all that Tokyo & Japan is expensive. That is one of the reasons why I refuse to go over there. XD; *is poor*

I think the bidding ended at close to $350. What is sad is that I have found it for much cheaper since then. I am glad I didn't win and end up paying that much. XD;

Yea, it's crazy how expensive everything is. I hate importing anything from Japan knowing that it might come over here. If it does come over here, then it's usually at a considerable price. :[

350?!?! Is that in US??? Holy crap that's insane!! Over here I found a Suikoden II for 45.00 XD but it was used so...

Yeah, I'm thinking of going to Japan on an exchange program and seeing how much everything is over there. I would never buy anything from japan unless I'm buying it through and store and it's at a reasonable price ^_^

Japan is more expensive then NYC.. i kno that..as in like the whole country I think costs more.. or maybe thats just the cities..idk.. one of my Sensei told me that though.. and so I wasn't suprised when i heard Tokyo was the most expensive city in the world.. we were taught in doing our conversions in class just to round every 100 yen to 1 USD so i know what you mean when i've looked at things priced in yen.. its insane!

Japan's economy is really bad. Everything there is extremely expensive :/.

Lol, well besides the ridiculously high living costs, the constant earthquakes, those few tsunamis and storms and possible hurricanes that they have on a regular basis, it's not too bad I have to say ;)

Yeah...I'm not all that surprised. But as for DoC, I...have my doubts it'll be 81 dollars. It may come down to that much when you do the converting, but when they actually bring it over, I don't see it happening.

Hell, even if they remake FFVII, possibly one of the greatest damn games ever created, that won't even be 81 dollars. Unless like...they only make 100 copies or something like that and it's limited or something. But yeah...nevermind.

If you think about it, costs are always raising, so by the time you are old enough, imagine how much more expensive it'll be to live there. Especially if you are living alone, you will have to pay everything by yourself. (Haha, roomates rock!)

That...or win the lottery or something. [/crack] XD

But hey, you can't called one of the richest countries in the world for nothing now can you? Haha ( ... )

Yeah hopefully... I'm waiting for Advent Children to come out but alot of people are saying that it might be going for the same price as a game >.< I hope THAT rumor isn't true...

Yeah, I doubt they'll make a remake though. It'd probably cost way too much money to produce... But then again, it IS the best Final Fantasy game that was ever created...

True... Well, hopefully I'll be able to find a room mate then!!! XD

Oh yeah... Probably because everyone there is stingy and they don't want to spend money so they eat like nothing ^_^
