Work...urgh

SO, for the past few days... seriously, maybe a week now. One of my "bosses" told me that I better pay more attention to when I come into work...reminding me several times that my shift starts five minutes before the actual posted time on the schedual... so that not only do I start on time, but also so that the guard before me can leave on time. Mister Matt,
You once stressed interest in being in the position that I am. Whether that is true today or not, that is not my decision. But it has been put in front of both Larry, Charlie and I and it has been decided that whatever program it is. You must be in attendance 5 mins before no matter what the case is. I know that you are not a morning person, but this is what you have choosen to do for the time being. I am not trying to put our friendship on halt but you do need to realize that you are in a very good position of making a decent amount of money over minium wage and also making close to 80 hours and all we are asking is to be to work 5 mins early prior to your scheduled time. And you have to remember that you are not there at the scheduled time when someone has to get in and start the teaching like that Thursday. I don't know what else to say besides you have a steady job as long as you take the "time" to keep it. I am sorry Matt but I agree with Larry and you can't keep fluffing the time.

Your Friend

you certainly take any shifts whenever someone needs you - that usually doesn't count for much I know - I used to feel like a pushover that never got the proper credit for what I did, all you hear is "you're late" and never "thanks for the tons of shit you do that keep the rest of us from having to do it all" - so, I feel you. Sounds like another job would appreciate you lots more and give you more money to do what you've been trained to do.
