Awww! I love how you portrayed his bodyguard/right-hand-man! I could totally sympathize with him and I love the mental picture I have of Asami as the arrogant kid ^___^ Awesome ficlet!

Ooooh nice! Very thought-provoking. Reminds me when Yamane sensei covered what happened seven years ago between Fei Long and Asami. There was a part where Asami was talking to a cop and the guy says I'll do anything for you Asami-sama (or something like that). I can see how that can be inferred to almost all of Asami's underlings. They must have some interesting encounters to be trusted and used by Asami so willingly. And in some way or another, these men might have something they all have in common, they must have admire and love Asami in some form (either platonically or romantically). Thank you for sharing this fic!

Nice look at the past and the history of these two. Younger but still so much the Asami that we love-proud and straightforward. I liked that you gave us a glimpse into Akira's thoughts and emotions, past and present.

Very nice story, and I wish YA develops some other relationships like that; focusing only on Aki x Asami might kill the couple...
