Actually I think P&P would really fit Asami and Akihito well. They could really stand in for Darcy / Elizabeth. Would Feilong be Mr Collins then? XDDDD OK, no, he's more of a Wickham, but not so bad. Or I suppose one could make him Bingley, and have him marry Kou. *runs away really fast*

Heh... really on VF? Shoot I'm trying to remember the characters I really liked this book I actually listened to it as a book on tape the the reader/actor was fantastic as well as seeing it on A&E. Akihito is definitely reluctant enough to be a Elizabeth but is Asami as misunderstood as Mr. Darcy? lol

I think P&P is a good Love Mode fic and I also think the theme could work well outside of Jane Austin like how Renji is pride and Naoya could be prejudice due to his bad experiences in life... lol I keep thinking they fit the ideas here :)

I think Asami is all about pride. So is Feilong for that matter. Either one of them would work opposite Takaba's prejudice. I don't think they need to be nice like Darcy, just have his main fault.

My problem with personally writing Love Mode P&P aside from the length is that Pride for me = Reiji and Prejudice = Izumi, and I don't want to write that. XDD Naoya is just too sweet and stuck on Reiji, more like Jane. And Takamiya is more like Bingley. So for me Love Mode P&P would have ended up as a wife swapper. XD

Hey I really liked this! Yeah when I saw the second challenge I was like "wtf?" but I like your interpretation of it. XD I especially liked this part:

Takamiya's face took on the lecherous look that Izumi had come to fear. "You could call me sensei. We could play After-School Discipline."

and this haiku:

"Crackling snapping sparks
Fly through a cold winter room.
Izumi is here."
