Takato doesn't quite understand AxA's relationship. He's trying to puzzle it out, but he can't really imagine where it's been, you know? So all he sees is this cold powerful guy who claims Akihito is his, and he knows Akihito is obsessed with this guy, and he's trying to put the pieces together.

I usually write Takato as more competent but I wanted to contrast his lack of experience with Akihito's and Asami's, and show that those first two really are kids compared to the big guy. They're not quite as tough as they think.
