So I decided to go ahead and secure an email address with my future new last name. Then I emailed my family with it and my brother responded that Stefanie Roeder looked so different and questioned whether he'd lose his man card if he cried at his sister's wedding...aw

What about a hyphen? I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but it's another option if you'd really like to keep your maiden name. No harm in making it a second middle name too!
