i'm finding new settings to play with on my fancy new camera all the time. that was like 2 seconds after the other pic, on a different light setting, and from a better angle (to get his face).

me, too! we caught the original batch of toads at the river; these are their offspring. i am so happy we have toad-sustainability!

Cozy looking yurt/ger. I use reflectix bubble wrap style insulation. What are you using?

thanks! it's got a layer of R-10 radiant SolarGuard insulation (similar to what you've got, but possibly less useful on the convective/conductive scale), and then a layer of R-19 (convective/conductive) cotton batt insulation over that. cozy is a good word!
