Something I forgot to mention in my letter earlier: sorry for making you look crazy for a few seconds there. I'm usually pretty good with names so I have no idea where the "J" thing came from. To be fair, though, it's been three months since I visited. At least I remembered someting! ;)
Hopefully your dad comes around to the idea of UC, though it's awesome that your mom loved it. Maybe she can influence him somewhat. My parents have their doubts as well but have kind of realized that it'll be my choice in the end. Sucks for them.
Also, I can't even believe what you wrote about improv. It sounds incredibly scary to me (shy girl talking here, lol). You know, though.. my school's drama program hosts a couple of improv nights throughout the year. I've not gone to any of them, but apparently they're an absolute blast. Maybe you could go to a few and hone your skills there. :)
