[Hmm hmm hmm~ oh, is this tune familiar? Here, have Russia singing softly in his creepy-cute voice. He likes to think he sounds more manly than he really does :(]

We fought for the future, destroyed the invader,
and brought to our homeland the Laurels of Fame.
Our glory will live in the memory of nations
and all generations will honor my name.

You think it is wrong that I am proud of my people and myself for enduring the darkest days of war only to come out as victors? Wrong that I am proud to have proved myself to the world after centuries of torture?

Or, most likely, you are simply ignorant and brash.

And that's how the song goes on? M-my...

It sounds as if it's a bit more violent than I thought it'd be... What kind of song is that?

That version was born out of a time of violence. Some changes have been made since then, but at the time, it was an important motivation to my soldiers. Songs and poems were among the biggest morale boosters during the war's darkest days. Even the Germans enjoyed my music from their trenches across the fields!

[ok, so. what she'd wanted to do was eyeball him quietly and make really angry faces that America pegged this guy as her country. but after hearing the song she can't help but be a brat as usual.]

O God, protect the Tsar!
Strong and majestic,
Reign for glory, for our glory!

[would sulk, except SHE'S SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD TOOOO~]

So, I've got a question. Is there any way I can switch your delusions with someone else's? Because no offense, but I'm not terribly pleased with you thinking you're my country.

I am your country. Or, rather, I was your country. I have changed much since the days of Tsars. Civil war does have quite an affect on nations.

The state of Prussia extends into the West.

Prussia no longer exists. But, as we both know, arguing with you and your delusions will get us nowhere. I will talk to your brother. He is the more rational side. Then again, he also remembers submitting to the Allies.
