Hi, i am at work studying for spanish. it is boring. Soon, i have to o to class. then i have a staff meeting. then i will do homework. then i will sleep. This week is going to be busy busy busy. although it doesn't seem like i have a whole lot to do. oh well. I really want this semster to be over and to be on my own. This summer will ( Read more... )

I have a friend in Teach for America right now, and he doesn't really like the program that much. I guess it depends on your personality and such, I never saw him as a teacher anyway. But he hates it. Just thought I'd put that two cents in.

I miss you though... summer is just around the corner!

Why does he hate it? because of the actual program or the teaching part? where is he teaching?

I will be in DC this summer with whitney, you should come visit us! bring friends! I miss you bunches too. do you remember our mean daisies leader? i think she is why i quit.

lol... money is always the issue... i have a couple of weeks i already hafta take off for these mini-internship things, plus laura is coming for a week. I didn't work all this semester, so I have got to work this summer and at least make enough to cover my books and all my stuff for next semester. I must, eventually come up though... I miss y'all like whoa! Give yourself a hug from me!

I am have heard some similar concernt about TFA .... also I know that is it tough to get the area/location that you want. Maria in my lab applied and said she wanted to be in the NorthEast and she didn't get picked for it. I would talk to a recruiter and ask them about this.
