I've always been a tea drinker but lately I've been really getting in to the old southern lady type of teas. I know at least in Georgia they've been getting pretty trendy again. Even the malls have tea stores (don't remember if Teavana was around before you left?). Do they serve and American or English pastries with your tea?

Yeah I am not sure if they had Teavana in the mall in SJ. Good to see its becoming a trend again, it really is better for you than coffee all the time I think. Plus the atmosphere can be so classy! At Afternoon Tea I think they serve Japanese style cakes. They are kinda like Japanese versions of European and American styles. For example the one above is a shortcake, but it has chestnut paste on it and two chestnut halves. One of my other friends had scones and jam, and another had something that looked like a peacan pie.
