Once again, I will say that I'm going to start updating this more often. I'll feel more like it now, since I'm not in the middle of a paper. I had a paper for Russian Cinema due last Friday. I was very glad to get it done and turned in. Now I just wait on pins and needles til I get it back. I think that I did well on it, but I'm really hoping to ( Read more... )

Getting an A from Sasha is pretty easy, actually, considering he's not a native English speaker. ;) Does he talk about Seinfeld regularly?

I took the same Russian cinema class with Lena as a sophomore. They're both a lot of fun.

For what it's worth, professorship is a pretty awesome job, speaking as a professor's kid. :)

Wow... Gonna try to live in Russia or other language-group-speaking place for a while?

Have fun, do what you will. I miss you.

That would be good... but not likely in the near future. I'm sure it will become necessary at some point, not like I mind. :)

Since I'm (hopefully) doing the Summer Language Institute in Charlottesville, I won't have to leave Marion as early as I would if I were going to summer session at WM. So we'll have to hang out together while I'm home. I'll be there sometime in the middle of May... I'm not sure of the exact date yet, I'll let you know when I know. But I won't be going to Charlottesville until June 10th at the earliest.

Go for it! I'm so happy for you that you know what you like and what you want to do. You'll probably have to get a PhD in Russian Studies to be a professor, though. But I think it would be totally worth it, and you would make a great professor!

Yeah, I'm sure I'll get a PhD, but first things first! :p

I've always wanted to get a PhD, just so I could be the most educated person in my family. It would be neat to be the first.

I hope I'd make a good professor. I certainly like sharing my knowledge with people. As much as I talk about my classes, Ehren probably knows as much about the subjects as my classmates.
