116 movies from their list

I noticed on this little "how many movies have you seen" thing on Erika's facebook profile and I took it.

When have I ever pretended to have a life? ;) )

Wow... I feel even more lifeless.

Can it be possible that I've seen more movies than you? I know this is hardly an absolute total... But out of this list? Yes. At least five more. Aheheh...

Sadly, there are only 11 on this list that I haven't seen. And I somehow have a full-time, fairly exhausting job. And no vestige of a life.

I don't know which of us has seen more movies... but when you count up the number of DVDs and VHS that I own, I have 260. So, I own more movies than this original list, and I've seen many more movies than I own, which is why I have a massive to buy list! ;)

I just think that the list is somewhat pitiful, I feel like any real movie fan would definitely have seen more than that by the time they're our age. Also, from that list, I've pretty much seen all the ones on it that I wanted to see.

Naturally. Of an Internet meme, though...? Not bad.

I need to do a count. I have, I think, about a hundred videos that I've bought. But as for all the six-hour tapes? I desperately need to get the collection under control. I've even considered *gasp* just throwing away all the VHS and saying to hell with it. I just want to compact-ness of DVD, the shininess.

But... bleah.

I flew a kite Saturday!

Congratulations on having an after-college-pseudo-plan! Yeah! I still don't. But my department just gave me a sizeable scholarship for grad school. Funny thing is, they all know I'm not going this year, so I guess that means they really want me to go... here's a little push and all that.

I suck. I'm intelligently useless. I don't feel I can do it. Like I said, I suck. Enough about me.

I miss you, my friend. I miss you all.

I want my Marion people, dammit.

Life is a bubble.

Now, now, you are not intelligently useless. I'm just a planner and as it is... I don't really know how viable my plans are. So I'm really still in a seeing what happens adapting phase. After I'll, I'm functionally two years behind you.

I think that no matter what happens, you'll end up doing the right thing for you. I mean, you shouldn't go to grad. school just because other people are trying to get you to go. I've realized that grad. school is very different from college. A bunch of my friends took a year off and then got into grad. schools with no problem, in fact, one of my friends got into grad. school at George Mason but is thinking about turning the offer down and working a while first before going on with her education. So it's not like if you don't go right away, you'll never go.

And I miss you too! Maybe I could give you a call tonight, I finally have a break in work. I'll try calling around 9pm or so. Hopefully, we'll get to talk, if not, I'm writing you a really long email.

Yeah, looks like I'll end up just writing a long email. I don't think I'll get time to call tonight until really, really late anyway.

I just realized that I had a presentation due sooner than I thought....

That's cool. Nell's coming over and I'm doing homework too (even though it's my Spring Break and I just wanna sleep and veg out with music/ movies and wine). :-) So I probably wouldn't have gotten to talk long either.

Write me a long e-mail and I'll write you a long one back in reply!

---Love,
Sara
