That is pretty funny. ^_^ And yeah, I totally understand your point of view. I think we need to remember that no matter their occupation or point of view, these guys are still people.

I feel bad for Bush sometimes. I mean, 90% of the world hates him. Imagine if that was you. That would suck.

That's not to say that it's not his own fault or that I don't want him out of office as soon as possible, but still.

I don't pay too much attention to celebrities' politics. I get annoyed at the ones who try to ram 'em down your throat, whether I agree with their views or not. If you aren't a politician, you have no business speaking about them publicly at the Oscars or whatever, in my opinion. But that's not what Colin and Brad were doing here, so it didn't bug me. I actually don't even know what the guys' political views are. I gather from comments on WL that Drew is a Republican and Greg is not. But those are the only ones that stuck out in my mind. Anyway, in a perfect world, I would love to have all my friends and family and even my favorite celebrities share my own political views, but it ain't gonna happen. My parents are conservatives (who wonder how the hell they spawned a raging liberal like me), and one of my best friends actually voted for Bush in '04 - and we're still friends, and my parents have not disowned me, lol. I just avoid political conversations with them ( ... )
