On the twelfeth day of Christmas.... 2018 version

Dec 25, 2018 09:19

Christmas morning, ya'll. We got here again (like it or not!) I usually have a few hours to myself in the mornings before the chaos, so I will post now in case I go down in the trenches of politics, debt accrual (just saw my credit card bill... *whimper*), and a sugar crash that has GOT to be coming, big time. That was perfect and made yesterday's picture even better because now i can see that the trees are different heights and the hole for the one in the wheelbarrow. Thank you for another year of entertainment - remember all those ideas buzzing in your head right now!

Hope your day goes/went smoothly and peacefully. Happy Christmas

We used to do that cut tree thing, and I always felt bad. I realize that coming from a tree farm, they were just going to be cut down if they didn't sell by a certain point anyway, but ... yeah. I'm weird.
So we tried to do the live tree one year and killed that sucker dead. But I always thought it would be cool if you knew what you were doing, and could make your own forest.
It's been quite peaceful! LOL Merry Christmas!

You are welcome! Thanks for hanging in and putting up with my flailing and weirdness. Over-all, I didn't think it went too bad despite my freaking out. Hope you are having a marvelous day!

That's beautiful. ^__^ We also did a live tree one year. The cats loved it, enough that we never did it again. O.o

The art is a perfect match, too. Nobody does art quite like T-shirt. ^__^

We had one that kept gnawing on the needles. O_o Weird cat... didn't climb them, but the bottom quarter of the tree could never be decorated. Thank SAP we stopped doing trees when the kid moved out. I really hated dealing with rearranging the entire room, just to make room for it... spend a day decorating it, watching it slowly die and then spending another day cleaning it up.

I wondered if the kitty was able to make the move with you. Tell him I'm sorry he didn't get his catnip toy this year. I'll do better next year! :D
You are very welcome and glad you had a good Christmas. I will take the peppermint and see you some peanut brittle. ;D

routhier says:

one of these days, there's gonna be a squirrel in that tree (isn't that part of the plot of "national lampoon"???) that hides in the house, unbeknownst to the fellas. then, when heero's on the couch, and duo is dead asleep on top of him, the squirrel's gonna attack, and heero's gonna leap outta his skin, and duo's gonna be launched across the room...

Never gotten a squirrel, but it seems like one year there was something that didn't take kindly to being brought into the warm. Some kind of bug....
