LOL I STILL haven't gotten to do an EX raid. Perils of living in a small town, I guess. I got one invitation, but it was for the day after I had brain surgery (yes, I have literally had brain surgery a little over a month ago) so yeah... no EX raiding for me. I probably wouldn't have done it anyway, since I would have had to take off work and drive 60 miles from home to get to it!

My mom feels pretty much the same way Heero and Trowa do - she gets it's a game, she gets I enjoy it and it gets me out of the house, but she can't wrap her head around why I would spend time, money and energy chasing imaginary critters around.

Oh, it was so fun those first weeks going out to catch Pokemon and meeting people! It was like being at a Con- where everyone has that shared interest? This captures that perfectly!
