I asked HR for a meeting to discuss my job, and how I'm not what the job needs.

I'm going to ask to start training my replacement as soon as possible, I think. I wanted to stick with the job, not because I liked it, but because I didn't want to be seen as giving up.

Giving up, or whatever. I'm exhausted and stressed and miserable. I want out.

Isn't your first priority to find an acceptable job for yourself? Unless you are an actual employee, you owe HR and the rest of the outfit nothing in terms of training anybody.

Good job, honey. I know how hard a decision this was for you, but hopefully this will work out better for you in the end. And maybe something can be done about crazy-ass manager if she gets reported. . .
