HELLO GUYS....IN THIS SEGMENT LETS FIND OUT WHAT INSPIRATIONS AND IMAGINATIONS LEAD SUMI TO DELIVER AWESOME STORIES..

PART 2 Writing fanfictions
TINA: How and when did you decide to be a fan fiction Author?
SUMI: It was just a little after I was deep into the fandom. Neck deep and suffocating in the feels.

TINA: What made you to sit down and actually write something?
SUMI: Thoughts. I needed a way to ease myself, my emotions and imaginative thoughts.

TINA: What is the first fanfic you completed?
SUMI: "Stargazing" a short one-shot but to this day, still my favorite one.

TINA: How did you get your idea for your first fanfic?
SUMI: Stars and the universe are the main themes I try and incorporate into every piece of text I write, so stargazing was one the first things that I started doing while my head was all up in the clouds.

TINA: Have you had any prior experience of writing before your first fanfic?
SUMI: Yes, a lot of amateur writing but also some published works.

TINA: Have you ever plagued by doubts on your storyline?
SUMI: It happens a lot actually.

TINA: How did you promote your fanfic to readers?
SUMI: Through the LiveJournal communities revolving around our fandom and few social media.

TINA: Have you ever been anxious about how the readers receive your story?
SUMI: To this day, each and every time.

TINA: Thoughts on how you felt when you see the first comment on the first story? Do you remember who is the first commenter?
SUMI: Happiness. I remember having a huge grin on my face. It was on AFF and I really can't recall who it was, it's been years :D

TINA: How do you prepare yourself before writing a fanfic?
SUMI: I don't, I just do it once the idea blooms in my thoughts.

TINA: Do you work out the plot line or do you prefer to see where your ideas or inspiration will take you?
SUMI: Depends on the personal connection I have with the story.

TINA: When and how does your inspiration or muse come to you?
SUMI: Randomly. AT all times of day and night, and places.

TINA: What is the weirdest place you were struck by inspiration for your fanfic? Did you write the plot? If yes what is the title of the fanfic?
SUMI: Peeing next to a police station with my friend while we went to buy cigarettes, drunk as f**k. The title is "Oil me up" *shy*

TINA: How much research do you do for your story?
SUMI: The amount I deem sufficient for it.

TINA: What is the easiest part of writing?
SUMI: The actual writing by hand, just pages and pages without stopping for a second.

TINA: What is the hardest part of writing a story?
SUMI: Typing it down into a document or a post... Urgh.
TINA: The writer’s worst nightmare is the dreaded writer’s block. When was the worst writer’s block you ever had? How did you overcome it?
SUMI: I've had three so far. And up to this point I think I haven't published or written anything for roughly two years? Yeah. I'm still trying to overcome it.

TINA: Any useful tips on how to overcome the writer’s block?
SUMI: Do not stop imagining or daydreaming.

TINA: Have you written any collaboration with other author’s? If yes name the fanfic.
SUMI: I've done some silly stuff in few chats with fellow author friends such as shizukanai and serendipitycm but none of it have been published, yet *smiles* It's been a long time.

TINA: How do you describe your writing style? Do you think you have your own personal writing style?
SUMI: I see it as simple as possible? I haven't thought about that before...

TINA: How do you think you have evolved creatively throughout the years? Do you notice any change in the way you write?
SUMI: OH GOD yes. The old me? Chaos. The new me? Still messy but not as chaotic.

TINA: How important are readers and their comments?
SUMI: The most important part of writing online. Their reactions and thoughts are what make it worth typing down 10K words in two hours.

TINA: I have been a silent reader for few months before taking the steps to comment… Any words for silent readers?
SUMI: Don't be shy to express the emotions a piece of work induced in you. It means a lot to us, even the constructive criticism.

TINA: Do you read other YunJae fanfics? If yes, name of the fanfic you loved?
SUMI: OH GOD YES. I read a lot of YunJae fanfiction. I'm an addict. Wedspawn's works - perfection that cannot be described in words. You can check the list of my ultimately favorite fanfiction on my journal!

TINA: Are you friends with any other author’s?
SUMI: As I've mentioned above, those two little cuties are one of few I'm actually close enough to that I can say we're friends? *smiles*

TINA: How do you make your stories standout when there are heaps of other stories with similar plot lines?
SUMI: I tend not to pay too much attention to it. Even if it's the same plot, there will always be the difference in the writing styles of the authors.

TINA: Has anyone stole your story and published under their name?
SUMI: Yes. It was a pretty much slap in the face when the incident occurred and it made me friend-lock all of my entries here.

TINA: Thoughts on others stealing your work?
SUMI: Other than "it's unethical, unfair and rude" and "don't do it, you do not wish to feel my wrath event through virtual reality", nothing else.

TINA: How do you manage your time between your daily activities and updating stories?
SUMI: Uh, I manage it by completely procrastinating things in real life.

TINA: Do you have any favorite time of the day to write stories?
SUMI: Night, absolutely.

LITTLE INSIGHT INTO HER STORIES..

TINA: Is it possible to get sexually attracted to a voice? Please tell a few words on your fic “Wuthering Hearts”. Have you ever been in that position?
SUMI: It happened on few occasions actually. You’re at a party, chatting with your friends and all of a sudden you hear a husky voice talking behind you and you feel as if you could listen to it for days. I simply wanted to show how that could feel using Yunho and Jaejoong as au characters.

TINA: Few words about “Hide and Seek”? What was the inspiration behind the fic?
SUMI: It’s probably one of my favorites and I had a lot of fun writing it. It was a dream, actually. A dream about me and my ex boyfriend and I just placed YunJae as the main characters.

TINA: You have few ongoing stories with very unique storylines, few words on those stories and your inspiration behind them?
SUMI: - I tend to let my imagination get loose, drift and just fantasize about lots of different situations, myself being the main character. Later on, I write those plots down. The main thing being that each night I go to sleep, I write a chapter inside my head, all pictures and colors. The rest comes as easy as breathing.

TINA: Biggest critic when it comes to your writing?
SUMI: It’s probably myself. I do, however, accept constructive criticism, but I feel as if no can criticize me more than myself because I tend to do that a lot, which results in my updates being delayed. Quite often at that.

LETS TALK ABOUT SMUT AND TABOO TOPICS:

TINA: So tell us why are we so interested to read these taboo topics when it comes to YunJae?
SUMI: No two other human beings are as compatible and endearing as Yunho and Jaejoong. It seems as the more taboo the idea is, the more we get to love the idea of them together. It's just, they're too sensual and there's something about them that makes reading incest or BDSM fanfiction, as normal as fluff.

TINA: How difficult or easy is writing smut?
SUMI: To me, it comes as naturally as breathing. It's all about imagining stuff going on at the right time and place.

TINA: Do you blush or get embarrassed while writing smut?
SUMI: Never *laughs* I blush more whilst writing or reading super sweet mushy fluff!

TINA: How do you write the sex scene? What is the inspiration?
SUMI: Imagination. And many hours of JGV, yaoi manga and personal experience? *blushing*

TINA: Have you ever watched GV before writing a smut scene? (you can choose to ignore this if you doesn’t want to answer)
SUMI: Not quite before, but watching GV's was my daily routine to make the imagination run wild.

TINA: Has any family member or friend ever walked on you while writing a sex scene?
SUMI: Since English is not my first language, it has never been a problem to write it even in front of them.

TINA: Thoughts after writing your first ever sex scene?
SUMI: "Oh GOD What have I done, this sucks and needs to be gone for eternity".

TINA: What is the secret of writing a sex scene that turns on your readers?
SUMI: Think like a fangirl. Because a fangirl knows what other fangirls like.

TINA: Still writing or you stopped now? (If still writing answer next question)
SUMI: Back to writing to be exact *wink*

TINA: Future YunJae projects?
SUMI: Ah, many. Continuation of my weekly drabbles, finish up the wip's, start posting new stuff.

TINA: Do you intend, somewhere in the future, to delete your journal?
SUMI: Even if I stop writing for good, this little universe remains right where it is, for others and myself to stop by and recall the good times we had in the fandom.

TINA: Any words for the readers?
SUMI: Let's have a lot new memories together along with our precious boys. Sumi loves you all <3
