TINA: What does YunJae represent to you?
SUMI: In a way, it’s a getaway from everyday issues I have to deal with, but most importantly, it’s somewhat of a consolation that love, no matter its shape or form, can be strong enough to beat all the odds.
TINA: Why are we obsessed with YunJae?
SUMI: It’s simply because the two of them are as addictive as individuals as they are as a pairing. One true pairing, as we’d say.
TINA: Why is that YunJae in stories can do anything and we support them?
(Ex: affair, Incest, home wrecker)
SUMI: The fact that authors put the two of them in such situations is simply because we love to see them go against all the odds. It’s intriguing and interesting to watch those situations unravel right before our eyes as we type it down. It’s far more challenging considering the fact that our readers’ opinions will change every time they get placed in such stories.
TINA: Tomorrow headlines confirm Jaejoong is in a relationship with a girl. How do you feel?
SUMI: It’s a fact that I will always love Yunho and Jaejoong as a pair. But, reality will never be what we want from it and if such thing happened, to either of them, I would not make a mess out of it. As long as they are happy, whether together or with their respective halves, I shall respect their choices.
TINA: Asian celebrities often get married in secret and hide the fact they are indeed married. So one member of TVXQ is in that married status. How do you feel?
SUMI: Nothing short of supportive. If such thing happened, I am more than assured they would have had their reasons to hide such things.
TINA: How real is Yunjae and how much is in fact Fan service?
SUMI: I guess it’s for us to speculate and the two of them to know *laughing*
TINA: Do you think Jaejoong is gay?
SUMI: I see him as bisexual actually.
TINA: When Yunjae comes out publicly?
SUMI: SCREAMING would be heard all over the world.
TINA: Does Yunho look gayer than Jaejoong?
SUMI: There were certain moments and gestures of his that would indicate so, but I don’t actually.
TINA: Do you think they meet secretly and still friends or even lovers?
SUMI: I have no doubts they still remain in contact as much as it is possible considering the current situations.
TINA: I heard Jaejoong song Nine is for Yunho even though he denied it?

TINA: What is it about YunJae that makes you sacrifice your time and energy upon writing fictions?
SUMI: The fact that I have never felt as connected with two real life characters as with them, and imagining about the two of them in all kinds of situation, to me as a writer wannabe, comes quite easy.
TINA: Your future plans for fanfics?
SUMI: Gosh, I have about twenty one-shots, seven chaptered and few five-or-so shots outlined at my private journal, waiting to be brought to readers. The thing is, being a math and physics major, I barely even have time to breathe properly, less write as much as I used to…
TINA: Thoughts on homosexuality?
SUMI: Being bisexual myself, I can only say that it is natural and a common occurrence amongst all living beings, not just humans.
TINA: What do you think of people who think homosexuality is a sin and a disease which can be cured?
SUMI: ‘Ignorance is bliss’, they say. Yet, lack of knowledge, compassion and understanding can lead people into delusions. I have spoken to a psychiatrist about that and guess what she told me? “Dear, you first need to understand”, she held up a book of physic illnesses, “what you are, is not listed as a disease or illness in any of the medical books. And now stop crying.”
TINA: What do you think we should do to make the world accept homosexuality?
SUMI: Unfortunately, we can’t do anything. It will happen eventually, as newer generations step the stage. We can only help people who are homosexual accept themselves as normal people not abominations or ill personas.
TINA: In the future, your kid comes out to you. What will you do?
SUMI: Give him all of my support and love as I would to any of my future children.
TINA: Pride or love?
SUMI: Love, all the way.
TINA: Love to me is?
SUMI: Sleeping next to someone on your belly back exposed to the soft wind coming through the open balcony as he/she caresses the skin of your naked back.

TINA: I have heard Asians think Westerners are ugly?
SUMI: First time hearing of this one. I have heard they have a hard time telling the difference between Europeans and Americans.
TINA: Asians give importance to skin color. Dark skin is big no no to Asians? Do you think it is ok to think like that?
SUMI: It is quite normal to prefer one skin type over the other. Asians love fair skin, no-sun-tan type. I think it’s okay if its about choosing a partner, but discriminating one because of his skin color is quite wrong.
TINA: How Important is skin color to you?
SUMI: It is of no importance actually.
TINA: Opinions on plastic surgery?
SUMI: As long as it doesn’t compromise your health too much and it will make you happier about yourself - go for it.
TINA: What do you think of Siwon’s, from Super Junior, statement when he said in a radio interview: ”I don’t mind dating a western girl but marry an Asian girl my mom approves off”?
SUMI: Each county has its customs and things that they deem acceptable. It’s equivalent to my mother saying “You can date any nationality you wish, but not of any religion. And eventually, I wish you to marry someone form here.”
TINA: Why should we be obsessed with pop idols when they don’t even know we exist?
SUMI: I find it quite okay to idolize a certain someone, someone you strive to be or simply just look at. It is not true they don’t know that we exist, because if it weren’t for us, they are the ones that wouldn’t exist.
