PART 2 ALL ABOUT WRITING FANFICTIONS..............
TINA: How and when did you decide to be a fanfic author?
SONEA: I’ve always written stories so when I became a fan from TVXQ and started reading the fic’s from others I wanted to try it myself. I liked it so I never stopped.
TINA: What made you to sit down and actually write something?
SONEA: I have no idea, it’s always with every new fic different.
TINA: What is the first fanfic you completed?
SONEA: A dangerous love.
TINA: How did you get your idea for your first fanfic?
SONEA: I have no idea, it’s such a long time ago! I barely remember where it’s about beside the obvious fact that it’s a vampire fanfic.
TINA: Have you had any prior experience of writing before your first fanfic?
SONEA: Yes, as a little child I was already telling and writing stories of my own.
TINA: Have you ever plagued by doubts on your storyline?
SONEA: Of course, I think that most authors do.
TINA: How did you promote your fanfic to readers?
SONEA: Not, I just post my fic and see who want to read it.
TINA: Have you ever been anxious about how the readers receive your story?
SONEA: Yes, although not that often anymore.
TINA: Thoughts on how you felt when you see the first comment on the first story? Do remember who is the first commenter?
SONEA: I don’t remember the first comment or where it was about but I remember that I always felt very nervous the first few times.
TINA: How do you prepare yourself before writing a fanfic?
SONEA: Not, I just start and see what happens.
TINA: Do you work out plot line or do you prefer to see where your ideas or inspiration take you?
SONEA: I always have a plot I’m working toward to, let’s say a red line throughout the story but most of the time I’m just seeing what happens.
TINA: When and how does your inspiration or muse come to you?
SONEA: Most of the time it’s just my imagination.
TINA: What is the weirdest place you were struck by inspiration for your fanfic? Did you write the plot?If yes what is the title of the fanfic?
SONEA: While watching over my little brother who was only 4 years old at that time. He was eating so I’ve got a idea. It was for a one-shot about a cannibal. It’s a JaeChun fic I’ve made years ago, ‘Escape now it still is possible!’
TINA: How much research do you do for your story?
SONEA: It depends on the fic, some more while for others I’m doing nothing at all. I write a lot supernatural fics and I know a lot about the occult, demons, witchcraft and all that sort of things so no research is needed most of the time.
TINA: What is the easiest part of writing?
SONEA: Writing xD
TINA: What is the hardest part of writing a story?
SONEA: Ending it. One of my other fic’s Demon Desire was supposed to have only five of seven chapters and I ended up with almost 300 pages…
TINA: The writer’s worst nightmare the dreaded writer’s block. When is the worst writer’s block you ever had? How did you overcome it?
SONEA: My last writersblock, I was away for almost a year and I’ve just returned from it.
TINA: Any useful tips on how to overcome the writer’s block?
SONEA: Talk to your readers about it and start with a new fic or one-shot. I’m always getting more and more idea’s when I actually have started a new fic. (Working on a old fic is difficult while returning.)
TINA: Have you written any collaboration with other author’s?
SONEA: I haven’t.
TINA: How do you describe your writing style? Do you think you have your own personal writing style?
SONEA: Oh, I don’t know. My best friend says that I have a personal style but I don’t know how to describe it.
TINA: How do you think you have evolved creatively throughout the years? Do you notice any change in the way you write?
SONEA: Since I’m writing more dark fantasy I have more inspiration and think about more things to write about. I can put more creativity in those stories and (I personally think) that those fics are better.
TINA: How important are readers and their comments?
SONEA: VERY important! I always get inspiration from them.
TINA: I have been a silent reader for few months before taking the steps to comment..Any words for silent readers?
SONEA: Just post a comment and support the author you like, he or she will only work harder if he or she has the feeling to be appreciated.
TINA: Do you read other yunjae fanfics? If yes name of the fanfic you loved?
SONEA: 나도 사랑해 [ Nado Saranghae ] from hurleysunn, this fic is in hiatus at the moment but it’s already one of the best fic’s I’ve read.
TINA: Are you friends with any other author’s?
SONEA: As in friends I know personally? Only one but she isn’t active on AFF anymore.I also have made a lot friends here so feel free to contact me ^_^
TINA: How do you make your stories standout when there are heaps of other stories with similar plot lines?
SONEA: I don’t know, I just make my stories personal and put a lot of myself in it. That’s enough I think.
TINA: Has anyone stole your story and published under their name?
SONEA: I hope not!
TINA: Thoughts on others stealing your work?
SONEA: I absolutely disrespect anyone who is doing such a thing. If they want to have a good story then let them work for it.
TINA: How do you manage your time between your daily activities and updating stories?
SONEA: I pick a day and start writing during the evening and see how it’s going. I can write a story in two or three days but re-reading it takes some more time.
TINA: Do you have any favorite time of the day to write stories?
SONEA: Evening
TINA: your favorite genre to write?
SONEA: Vampire
ALL ABOUT STORIES:
TINA: Why does supernatural theme dominate your stories?
SONEA: It’s my interest, I know a lot about it and like to write about it.
TINA: Tells us about the fic "MY SOULMATE". Inspiration behind this fic.
SONEA: Oh that is a old one! I don’t remember much about that fic to be honest but I know that it was my second vampire chaptered fic.
TINA: Tells us about the fic "THE PROMISE"?
SONEA: That was my first JaeHo fic I think, also vampire. I wanted to try something new to see if I liked it. Also, I haven’t done any research for that fic, I just started writing.
TINA: Tells us the inspiration behind the fic"DEMON DESIRE"?
SONEA: Ahhh, my favorite! I wanted to make a horror/angst fic for once. I already knew a lot about what I wanted to do but not if I (and my readers) were liking it. So I started the fic, wanting to make it a short one but I ended up making it one of my longest fic’s ever. I liked to write about a dark, cool, mysterious and evil JaeJoong but with a tender side of himself toward Yun.
TINA: Favorite story of mine "FATED TO EACH OTHER". Inspiration behind this fic.
SONEA: Again a vampire fic and for this one I liked to write about dark v/s light. Good Yun and evil Jae but both vampires and both born for each other. I wanted to write about them struggling with their differences but finding out that their love was stronger.
TINA: Another fav of mine "DANGEROUS LOVE". few words on this fanfic .
SONEA: Haha, you’re naming a really old one again! It was a YunJae vampire fic and I actually started with this fic just because of the title. “Dangerous love” was DBSK’s mini serie and I just wanted to write a story with that name. How I got the idea about the fic itself I don’t really remember.
TINA: Coming to your one shots "LEGENDS". How much research you do before writing stories based on legends.
SONEA: Not much, I love vampire legends and know already a lot about them.
TINA: Among your stories which is the most difficult to write?
SONEA: I have most trouble with one-shot’s in general, I have trouble with keeping them short.
TINA: Your Favorite Legend?
SONEA: About a vampire/witch legend, the Hordewa.
TINA: Still writing or you stopped now?
SONEA: I’m still writing.
TINA: Future yunjae projects?
SONEA: YunJae? I don’t know, but I have a few idea’s for future JaeHo fic’s.
All ABOUT SMUT:
TINA: Tells us why are we so interested to read taboo topics when it comes to yunjae? Ex.incest ,cheating, home wrecker etc.
SONEA: Good question! I personally aren’t thinking about it that much and aren’t hiding it that I’m reading/writhing about those taboo subjects. My boyfriend actually knows what I’m doing and he’s okay with it.
TINA: How difficult or easy is writing smut?
SONEA: It’s not that difficult anymore and I’m finding a lot inspiration while reading the fic’s from others.
TINA: Do you blush or get embarrassed while writing smut?
SONEA: Haha, no! Why should I? It’s a normal thing.
TINA: How do you write the sex scene? What is the inspiration?
SONEA: I decide most of the time if I’m going to use smut in a chapter or not when I’m actually writing it so the inspiration comes during the chapter.
TINA: Have you ever watched GV before writing a smut scene? Has any family member or friends have ever walked on you while writing a sex scene?
SONEA: What is GV? I’m living on my own with my 3 cats so I don’t have that problem while writhing ^_^
TINA: Thoughts after writing your first ever sex scene?
SONEA: Holy crap! XD
TINA: What is the secret of writing a sex scene that turns on your readers?
SONEA: I just write something I like myself and then post it, hoping that the others will like it too.
TINA: It is so heart breaking when u see your favorite authors deleting their journals or accounts, taking away the chance to reread some of our favorite stories..and having those wonderful stories lost..Have you anytime in future have plans on deleting your journal?
SONEA: No way! Never even thought about it!
TINA: Any words for the readers?
SONEA: Thank you!!! <3
